This lovely vintage evening gown was designed in the 1970's by Victoria Royal and originally sold at Robinson's in California. The dress has two separate layers, the outer layer is a fine sheer champagne mesh fabric that is covered in beads, embroidery, faux pearls, paillettes and rhinestones. The embroidery and beads create a pretty floral design. The dress also has a pale neutral underslip that is more fitted. Both of the layers have back center zippers and hook and eyes for closure.
This is such an elegant, neutral toned evening dress that is so sophisticated and refined! The color is a beige with a slight muted champagne blush hue. Measurements are taken on the slip, but keep in mind that the outer layer is looser and has a straight fit. We estimate this dress to fit an approximate modern day US size 4, but reviewing the measurements is always the best way to determine if something will fit when buying vintage online.
Keep in mind that our mannequin is 6" tall so the dress hits her at a midi level, it will hit most at the ankle.
